Knowing your product

Owning a business is more than just knowing how to run it, but knowing your products. Let's take instruments for example. Knowing about an instrument and how to play it can help when trying to sell, can help you when a customer has a question or wants to know what it sounds like. I am a drummer and can tell you the in's and out's of them. This gives an advantage when trying to explain the history or scarcity of that particular set.
